Super Air Nautique GS22E at Homewood High & Dry Marina Lake Tahoe powered by Ingenity Electric

Electric Boat Charging Station

Homewood High & Dry Marina in collaboration with boat sales partner, Superior Boat Repair & Sales and Ingenity, steps up efforts to protect Lake Tahoe by leading the charge on supporting electric boating infrastructure.

Lake Tahoe's First Electric Boat Charging Station

The Homewood High & Dry Marina electric boat (EB) charging station was first installed in August of 2020 with the support of the Tahoe Fund and is the first EB charging station available for watersport boats on Lake Tahoe.

Working closely with local utility companies, in 2022 the Marina upgraded their service in order to power two 100KW Level 3 Fast DC Chargers in the harbor. The electric boat chargers are available directly on the water and are capable of fully recharging the GS22E in less than 1 ½ hours.

Zero-Emissions Nautique GS22E

A first of its kind, the Super Air Nautique GS22E, powered by Ingenity, is built onto the already widely popular Super Air Nautique GS22 platform and is credited as being a top-performing multisport boat allowing for a variety of recreational activities on the water while emitting zero-emissions.

The battery-operated electric drive GS22E is currently available for sale through our partner Superior Boat Repair & Sales.

What does it take to charge the electric boat?

The GS22E can run at full load/power (continuous watersports) for 2-3 hours before needing a recharge. The boat can be charged either in the water or out of the water. Currently, the marina is able to completely recharge a discharged battery in approximately 1 1/2 hours.

Ingenity & Watershed Innovations

A subsidiary of Correct Craft, Watershed Innovations’ newest brand Ingenity, is the mastermind behind the electric drive system that powers the Nautique GS22E. The brand was created to focus on bringing sustainable solutions to the industry. Their latest innovation brings the high-power electric drive to watersport boats, creating a battery that allows watersports enthusiasts to enjoy a quiet zero-emissions experience on the water.
