Meet the team behind the day to day operations at the Homewood High & Dry Marina.
Meet Jason Hennessey, the Operations Director at the Homewood High & Dry Marina. Jason is originally from upstate New York and moved to Lake Tahoe in 2007. He oversees the day-to-day operations of the marina, making sure boats are ready for customers, launching and hauling is on schedule, and working with guests to provide the best experience possible. When Jason isn’t on the water working, you will find him on the lake enjoying Tahoe with family and friends.
Say hello to Byron Pruitt, the Marina’s Service Manager! Byron has been working in the boating industry for over 25 years. He joined the Marina team from Florida in 2025 and has been loving Tahoe lake life while getting to know our community. With experience on everything from diesel engines and outboards to sailboat rigging, Byron is the go-to guy to keep boats running smoothly. His love for boat service started young, working on small engines with his dad and tinkering with outboards. By 2000, he was already deep in the marine world — and he hasn’t stopped since. Certifications? Yes, he’s got plenty:
- 25T Master Captain’s License
- Open Water Dive Certified
- NAUI Skin Diving Instructor
- ASA Sailing Instructor
- Private Pilot
We’re excited to have Byron leading our service team and bringing his expertise (and passion) to Tahoe!
