The Forecast:

As we head into the Labor Day weekend, we are expecting the warm and dry weather to continue.  Each day we are expecting lots of sun with high temperatures around 80 degrees.  Overnight lows down into the 50’s.
Afternoon winds out of the southwest will continue into next week.  We could see afternoon wind gusts of 15-25 mph out on the lake.  That could make for some rougher water.  Staying closer to the wind-protected areas of the lake near the west shore is a good idea in the afternoons.
The warm and dry weather pattern is expected to continue into next week.  The next chance for a change in the weather looks like later next week starting around the 5th.  That’s when we could start to see some moisture move up from the south bringing a chance for thunderstorms.
As we go into the 2nd week of September we could see a trough move through and finally bring some cooler weather.
